When working on your project, the selection of the right technology is of paramount importance to ensure a good quality product. At US Castings, we specialize in a variety of technologies that suit every need.

CNC Machining is a process that uses computer-controlled machines to remove material from a workpiece (i.e., cast parts) to create custom-designed parts. This involves precise cutting, milling, drilling, or other machining operations based on a digital design.

Among its many advantages, we can name the high levels of accuracy and precision, the speed of its setup, and the production times in comparison to other methods, and, of course, the fact that it’s automated.

Investment Casting involves several steps and the time required for each step varies depending on size, complexity, materials and equipment.

Its advantages are many: its great versatility, which makes it suitable for casting most metals, and the possibility of producing at high volume with low repeat costs.

One process that involves creating a mold by packing sand around a pattern is Sand Casting. Once the mold is created, molten metal is poured into it, which solidifies before the casting is removed.

This process is easier to modify than others, and as a bonus, it has a shorter lead time compared to other casting processes and a lower initial setup cost.

Finally, Laser Cutting is a manufacturing process that uses a laser beam to cut through precision metal sheets precisely. This process is commonly used to create very precise shapes with very minimal waste. It can also cut through the thickets of metals and uses less energy than other cutting processes.
